Recently Thabang and I were walking the streets of Kliptown, I asked him what he saw.

“It’s so dirty” he said.

“There is such innovative use of materials” I responded.

The place is dirty. People do do beautiful things with found materials. These two perspective evolved into the waste upcycling initiative.
